Florence was guided into this path by Đại Đức Thích Nhuận Sanh (Venerable Thich Nhuan Sanh)

Florence (her international name) carries the meaning of a flower - something gentle, yet quietly resilient. Her teacher - Venerable Thich Nhuan Sanh, gave her the Dharma name “Đức Hoa Tuệ” which can be understood as “the flower of wisdom” - a symbol of insight, compassion, and a mindful heart.
